Garden Squared

This app will allow you to plan out your vegetable garden using dimensions from one by one square foot plots to four by eight foot beds. You can track and monitor your plants while filling in your journal. You can save plots according to your own design for future plans or expansions.

This is a great guide to growing vegetables. Vegetable Garden has more than 50 different vegetables and tells you the best ways to grow them. It’s also an app that’s growing, each time the app updates, new vegetables are added. Users are able to share with friends on Facebook, Twitter or email to friends.

Grow Your Own by Royal Horticultural Society

The Grow Your Own app is designed to help you grow your own fruits and vegetables. The plant information is tailored to gardening in the UK. It gives advice based on the available space in the garden and amount of time you have to spend caring for your plants. This is a free app and includes 20 fruits and vegetables, but an upgrade can be purchased which includes 16 additional plants.

Garden Tracker app helps you plan and plant your vegetables and track your garden’s progress. You can also track days to harvest, as well as water and fertiliser schedule. You can also upload your gardens to your Dropbox account, as well as upload and download to other devices.

This free app lets you name your garden, list what you are planting and it will create a handy to do so you know what to plant when. Within the app is a full database of plants, weather and how to garden videos.
