We don’t have time to update the site with everything we design and build, but we have made some weird and wacky structures over the years! A straight talking fellow, 'The Beast' has worked with the shed industry for over 5 years, but has been around serious wooden buildings all his life.
Born and bred in England, he was raised into a long line of big shed builders. His father constructed a shed with 2 floors, it was so large, passers by thought it was a church! His grand father was a carpenter, and passed his infectious love of wood and quality workmanship onto the man you read about today.
looking for approx 20×15 sloping insulated shed advice please thanks
You can buy a 20×5 shed from us here and although we don’t currently insulate our sheds, it really isn’t difficult to do yourself. The framework we use for our standard/tanalised ranges is 50mm thick so I would recommend you buy some 45mm insulated boards and cut them to fit within the framework struts. Then screw a layer of plywood over the top for cover.
Any more details please ask.
I need an inexpensive but secure shed to house my mid sized mobility scooter. Can you help please?
I am not sure what size I would need but it doesn’t need to be huge!
As you know best regarding the size that would suit your needs I recommend you choose from our vast selection of sizes here and select the security range of shed possibly without windows as that would make it super secure. Information on our mobility scooter sheds here. Any further help please ask.
Hi I am looking to purchase a pent shed 9 x 5 but the problem is that there will be no room round it to erect the shed as the back will literally back onto the garden fence panels and the sides will have only 6 inches or so free either side. The garden fence panels are new and could be lifted out by 2 people and put back afterwards. Do you think it would be possible for your guys to work in such a restricted space and manage to erect a shed? I could possibly send you a photo of the area if that helps once i have completed laying the concrete base.
thanks
Charles
Hi Charles,
We have erected many sheds with restricted space such as yours.
We can construct your shed from the inside. What we will require is 7ft in height access and a flat level base.
kind regards
No you do not need permission, But if you lay a ccrenote base, you will need ask. Best base would be paving slabs. make sure that the ground is level.Do not forget the timber stretchers usually 3in x3in.I hope I have been some help
