This is our 'top of the range' shed, and as it's name suggests: it is a BEAST of a shed! Known in our workshop as the 'Bomb Shelter', this shed is as near indestructible as common sense will allow!
It's sturdy framework is built from planed 3" x 2" redwood timber - which has been tanalised (or 'pressure treated') for extra resistance to the elements (please click 'tanalised' link on green header bar of home page for more information regarding tanalised wood), and the framework is both nailed and screwed together for extra strength and security. [n.b. Extra framework and floor runners used on the Beast Shed models compared to all our other models]
The boards (cladding) used on the wall panels, floor and roof are made from 22mm full tongue and groove planed redwood timber (for added protection from rain and wind - and an added security feature), and are available as either tanalised or untreated - depending on individual customer requirements.
As a further security measure the doors are fitted with 18" security hinges, and a pad bolt protector making this shed highly suitable for use as a workshop, home studio, garage, office, home gymnasium, general storage area, or any other heavy duty/ high-usage 'outdoor' building.
