They explained politely that a cut-and-join would be needed at a small extra cost, which seemed sensible and professional. The installers arrived exactly on time and worked quickly and expertly. The result is excellent. My only suggestion is to include specific wood-preserver brand recommendations with the receipt for aftercare. Overall, a superb job.
